Free parking around Red Bull Ring

Around the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, there are several free public car parks operated for race visitors. In most cases, parking cannot be reserved in advance, so we strongly recommend arriving early – the earlier you get there, the better your chances of parking closer to the circuit. Please note that traffic management is handled live on-site, so depending on the current situation, you may be redirected to a different parking area than planned. We recommend checking the official parking map and choosing the best option for your location and ticket type.

Paid private parking (recommended for convenience & certainty)

Besides the free options, there are also private paid parking areas available near the circuit. These are a great choice if you prefer more certainty and smoother logistics, especially on busy race days.

• Prices from €29 per day / €99 for 5 days
• Price varies depending on vehicle type
• On Saturday and Sunday, cars can leave the parking area after 19:00 (caravans and motorhomes after 20:00)
• There is also a limited premium asphalt parking area (higher price), ideal in bad weather and recommended for sports cars / low clearance vehicles

Things to consider (disadvantages):

• Later departure time on Sunday compared to some other parking options
• Longer walking distance to the circuit (approx. 20 minutes on foot)
• Shuttle service from the parking area is not confirmed

Important notes

No overnight stay is allowed in standard circuit parking areas (car parks are not campsites), especially for caravans and motorhomes.

• In most cases, there is no shuttle service from car parks to the circuit, so be prepared to walk if you park further away.

Our recommendation

• If you want to park for free: Use the official free parking areas organized by the Red Bull Ring. Check the map, choose the most suitable zone, and arrive early. Be aware that you might be redirected due to traffic flow.

Parking for the disabled

• Wheelchair users and people with disabilities (holders of a disability identification card) will find their parking near the circuit itself. If they arrive on the L503 expressway, they will pass Checkpoint C2, and a short distance behind it, on the left side, there is a parking lot for the disabled.
• Everybody who has purchased a ticket for disabled fans will find available parking spaces in all parking areas.

Parking for bus operators

• The Red Bull RIng also offers parking for bus operators. Busses should arrive before 9:00 due to the traffic (parking is open from 7:00 until 19:00 from Friday to Sunday).
• The pricing starts at 50 euro per weekend (when booking in advance) up to 100 euro (when paying) on site.
• Note that number of stand for busses is limited.
